Project Overview:

Roco is a new concept hair salon established and run by award winning stylists. The logo mark focuses on their desire to communicate a feeling of professionalism but with a quirky characteristic. The custom type and distressed enclosure describes roco’s eco-friendly ethos and use of all natural ingredients across their full product range. The muted colour palette also helps convey an earthy, sophisticated and natural feeling.

Project Overview:

Tasked by Energy, a leading, international marketing communications firm to inject new life into their brand identity we focused our efforts in creating a mark that referenced their dynamic approach yet also retained a mood of strength and establishment. The mark concentrates its form on two forward facing arrows, carried through from the existing identity helping to retain the familiarity of the brand with existing clients while giving the brand identity an edge that reaches out to new clients and to the future. The sheared letter ‘y’ references this new ‘edge’ and helps create unity between the arrow forms and type.

Case Study 03 - Redcastle Oceanfront, Golf & Spa Hotel Rebrand and Print Collateral

3.2 Print collateral

Project Overview:

Overlooking the majestic Atlantic ocean on Ireland’s North coast the Redcastle is a luxury 4 star, golf and spa hotel. Under new ownership Urban 3D were tasked with rebranding the hotel to inject new life into its marketing presence. The logo mark was developed to incorporate a stylised castle structure with an interagted wave form referencing the hotel’s oceanfront location. A cool blue colour scheme was devised to give a sense of calm as well as being a bold gesture, breaking the stigma of using the obvious, expected red referenced in the name.
